Agglomerator
Feature
Function
A agglomerator is a vertical, batch‑type drying and granulation machine. The purpose of drying granulation is to agglomerate fine powder particles into larger, more uniform granules, thereby improving flowability and reducing caking.
In operation, the pre‑mixed raw materials are first loaded into a movable bowl, which is then pushed into the granulator. Under PLC control, the process sequence typically includes pre‑heating, water spraying, drying, and cooling. Once the cycle is completed, the finished granules can be transferred to downstream packaging operations
Material
304 or 316L stainless steel
Design
The granulator is typically designed based on the capacity of its processing bowl, with common sizes around 400 kg. The drying cycle generally takes about 1 hour. Because the output per machine is relatively small, multiple units are usually required, often operating in parallel and with extended working hours to meet production demand.
