Fluid Bed Dryer
Feature
Function
A fluidized bed dryer is a horizontal, continuous‑type drying and granulation system. The purpose of drying granulation is to agglomerate fine particles into larger granules, thereby improving flowability and reducing caking.
During operation, the pre‑mixed and pre‑granulated materials are fed into the inlet of the fluidized bed dryer. The materials move forward as the fluidized bed surface vibrates back and forth, pushing the product along the drying path. Heated air is blown upward through the perforated bed surface, drying the product as it travels. Once dried, the finished granules exit at the discharge end and are conveyed to downstream packaging
