Lobe Pump
Feature
Function
A rotary lobe pump is a type of positive displacement pump, consisting of two precisely meshing lobes. As the lobes rotate, a vacuum is generated at the inlet, drawing product into the pump chamber, while mechanical displacement forces the material toward the outlet. This pump design is well‑suited for transferring high‑viscosity liquids and can accommodate liquids containing particulates of defined size
Construction material
Stainless steel 304 or 316L
Flow and pressure
Food‑grade positive displacement pumps can be optionally configured, providing a transfer capacity of 30 to 60 tons per hour. The typical maximum operating speed for standard configurations is approximately 400 RPM
