Many modern plastic bottle production lines—such as those using PET bottles—operate with blow‑molding machines directly linked to the filling and packaging lines. However, the filling and packaging lines may need to stop due to issues such as maintenance or product changeover. If the blow‑molding machine also stops, its preform heating system shuts down immediately, causing all partially heated preforms to become scrap. Once the packaging line issue is resolved, the blow‑molding machine must wait for the heating system to reheat and stabilize before synchronized production can resume, significantly reducing overall line efficiency. To address this challenge, a plastic‑bottle storage buffer is introduced, providing approximately two hours of capacity. This buffer allows temporary interruptions on the packaging line without affecting the continuous operation of the blow‑molding machine, thereby maintaining overall production efficiency.
