Pneumatic Vaccum Powder conveying System
Feature
Function
Powder materials refer to dry raw ingredients such as sugar, salt, monosodium glutamate, flour, or similar powdered or granular substances. During automated conveying of these materials, either a positive‑pressure system or a vacuum conveying system may be used. A typical vacuum system consists of a feed hopper, conveying pipelines, a receiving tank, and a rotary discharge valve. Vacuum is generated by a vacuum pump and connected to the receiving tank, with pipelines linking the tank to the feed hopper. When powder materials fall into the feed hopper, they are drawn into the receiving tank. At the bottom of the receiving tank, a rotary discharge valve releases the powder to the downstream equipment as required
Design
The conveying capacity of such systems is typically specified in tons per hour. However, most vacuum conveying systems are designed for capacities below 4 tons per hour
